Car ends up on top of another in rear-end crash in Modesto
The back end of a Honda CR-V wound up on top of a Cadillac that rear-ended it on McHenry Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
Despite the dramatic scene, no one was injured and a responding officer simply helped the drivers exchange insurance information.
The Honda was stopped at a red light in the southbound lanes of McHenry at Rumble Road when the driver of the Cadillac looked down for an unknown reason and rear-ended the Honda, sending its back half on top of the Cadillac’s roof.
The Honda also bumped a car that was stopped in front of it, but that car sustained minor damage compared with the Cadillac and the Honda, which both had to be towed from the scene.
