YESTERYEARS

40 YEARS AGO: At the Modesto Quarterback Club, held at Frank’s Restaurant, Davis and Beyer high schools were awarded the city trophy. The schools shared the trophy because they both defeated Downey and Modesto high schools, and battled to a 0-0 tie.
