Crash into Turlock bookstore leaves major mess behind

A car crashed into a bookstore downtown Tuesday morning, causing only minor injuries but leaving a big mess.

Firefighters passing by saw the accident and reported it just before 10 a.m., according to the Turlock Police Department. The car crashed into the Lightly Used Bookstore at Olive Avenue and Center Street.

Authorities remained on scene for more than hour as they cleared the accident.

No serious injuries were reported.
