ROAD WORK

▪ The replacement of the Pelandale Avenue interchange will require shoulder closures in several locations and nighttime work in various lanes. Details are at www.sr99pelandale.org.

▪ Extension of the Virginia Corridor trail means closure of the north sidewalk on Leveland Avenue. Periodic lane closures are possible in the area.

▪ Delays are expected for construction of a right-turn lane from eastbound Bangs Avenue to southbound Prescott Road. Completion is expected by the end of September.

▪ H Street will have lane closures between 17th and 10th streets for a traffic signal upgrade.

▪ Intersection improvements are being done at Seventh Street and B Street.

▪ El Vista Avenue at Miller Avenue will have temporary lane closures for paving. Miller will be closed at El Vista.

▪ Traffic signals are being installed on West Orangeburg Avenue at Enslen Avenue and on East Orangeburg Avenue at Lakewood Avenue.

▪ A major sewer project in the area of Carpenter Road and Emerald Avenue will include pipeline installation on Elm Avenue west of Shirley Court.
