Did you know the McHenry Museum is haunted? Well, for the next several days, that is. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County are for the second year sponsoring the Haunted McHenry Museum, which includes a haunted maze, costumed performers from Prospect Theater Project, Halloween crafts, a pumpkin roll and other games. The target audience is elementary school-age children and their families, and the goal is “to entertain but not overly frighten the children,” organizers say. Tickets are $5 per person, with children under 5 admitted free. They are available at the McHenry Museum Gift Shop and at the door. Tickets also can be purchased online at www.hauntedhousemodesto.com. For more information, call (209) 222-5826 or go to www.bgcstanislaus.org.
