YESTERYEARS
50 YEARS AGO: The three Modesto City Schools high schools held the third annual joint choir concert in the Downey High School auditorium. The three performances were judged by Lee Kjelson, professor of music at Alameda State College. Downey, Modesto and Davis were directed by Eleanor Haines, Ginger Covert and Robert Wing, respectively.
