One dead in vehicle, motorcycle collision in Modesto’s La Loma neighborhood

One person died in a traffic collision on Friday night in the La Loma neighborhood, according to the Modesto Police Department.
Little information was available Saturday on the incident, which remained under investigation, according a MPD watch commander.
Modesto Police responded to a call around 10 p.m. Friday to a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on La Loma Avenue near Morton Boulevard, the watch commander said.
There were no further details on who died or what caused the collision.
The MPD traffic unit is investigating.
