Modesto gets look at the life of Carol Channing

An audience at the State Theatre in downtown Modesto got a sneak peek Sunday at a film profiling award-winning performer Carol Channing, looking at her career and personal life.

After the film, ‘Carol Channing: Larger Than Life,’ the 90-year-old Modesto resident and husband Harry Kullijian answered questions from the audience.

The event was a benefit for the Kullijian Foundation for the Arts.
