New night market is coming to Stanislaus County. Here’s when and where

Local food vendors and artisans will soon gather as part of a new night market coming to Stanislaus County.

The free night market will light up downtown Ceres this September.

“Residents and visitors are invited to stroll downtown, shop for unique items, enjoy delicious food and connect with the community in a lively atmosphere,” the city of Ceres said on its website.

Here’s what you need to know about dates, locations and which local vendors will be participating:

When is Stanislaus County night market?

Starting Thursday, Sept. 4, the Ceres Night Market will run every Thursday from 4 to 8:30 p.m. along Fourth Street, between North Street and Lawrence Street.

“There is no admission fee to attend,” the city said. “Don’t miss out on an opportunity to support local businesses and experience the heart of Ceres.”

What will be for sale at Ceres Night Market?

From sweet treats and savory bites to handmade crafts and artisan goods, the market will feature local vendors including Sugar Rush Poffertjes, Birria Fuego, Vic’s Churros, Squeezed with Love, Goth Mama’s Haunted Hoard and Get Print3D.

“Downtown businesses that will remain open during the event will include the American Italian Bistro, The Drip, and BK Bookstore & More, so make sure to stop in to check them out,” the city said.
