Stanislaus County is hiring full-time employees for multiple positions in various departments, including public works, health services and the assessor’s office.

The county provides competitive and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance plans, for full-time employees.

As part of its Employee Choice Bonus Plan, the county is offering a sign-on bonus worth up to $10,000 over three years or 21 extra days of paid leave time for eligible employees hired full-time on or before June 30.

Assessment technician | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Assessor’s Office
  • Salary: $42,972 to $59,051 annually

The assessment technician helps keep property ownership records up to date by reviewing legal documents and deeds.

This involves checking if properties need to be appraised, applying exemptions for qualified owners and deciding if an appraiser needs to look at changes.
