Which stores are open in Modesto on Veterans Day?
There are several grocery stores, supermarkets and retailers in the Modesto area.
Here are holiday hours for some of the major chains on Monday, Veterans Day:
- Costco: Open 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Walmart: Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Target: Open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Trader Joe’s: Open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sprouts: Open 7 a.m to 10 p.m.
- O’Brien’s Market: Open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Save Mart: Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Safeway: Open 5 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Winco: Open 24 hours.
- Raley’s/Bel Air: Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Cost Less: Open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Are pharmacies open on Veterans Day?
Here are open hours for pharmacies in the Modesto area on Veterans Day:
CVS: Open 24 hours; pharmacy is open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Walgreens: Open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.; pharmacy is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Rite Aid: Open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; pharmacy is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Is the mall open on Veterans Day?
Vintage Faire Mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Veterans Day.
However, the mall website said individual restaurants and retailers can have different hours, so it’s best to contact them directly.
What’s closed in Modesto for Veterans Day?
Several government offices, such as post offices and public libraries, and banks will be closed on Monday for Veterans Day, including:
- Stanislaus County Library: Closed.
- U.S. Postal Service: Closed and there will be no regular mail deliveries. Retail, delivery and collections will continue on Tuesday.
- California Department of Motor Vehicles: Closed. Offices will re-open Tuesday.
- Bank of America: Closed.
- BMO: Closed.
- Chase Bank: Closed.
- Golden 1 Credit Union: Closed.
