An Oakland woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 5, north of Fink Road in the western part of Stanislaus County on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The woman was identified as 59-year-old Sharon Coleman.

CHP received the call at about 6:30 p.m. and found Coleman’s Ford SUV with major collision damage. The area of the crash is about six miles south of Patterson, west of NASA Crows Landing Airport and Test Facility.

Coleman was driving south when for “unknown reasons” she entered the dirt center median before overturning. The SUV entered the northbound lanes before coming to a rest on its wheels, according to CHP.
