Modesto Police Department

Modesto Police Department officers responded just before 7 p.m. Wednesday to a hit-and-run incident near Keller Avenue, where three pedestrians were hit.

The pedestrians were walking on the sidewalk at the time of the collision. One of the pedestrians, identified as a teenager, was airlifted to a hospital at UC Davis, however the police department said none of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries.

The driver who fled the scene has been identified, but there was no information Thursday afternoon on their identity or if they had been apprehended.

The Modesto Police Department said the investigation is ongoing.
