Police investigating fatal collision Sunday morning in south Modesto. 1 dead at scene
One person died at the scene of a two-vehicle collision Sunday morning, the Modesto Police Department reports.
The crash was reported at 5:30 a.m. on West Hatch Road, west of Monticello Avenue, just south of the Tuolumne River.
The person who died was traveling with one other person, Lt. Felton Payne said. The driver of the other vehicle was alone.
No additional information, including the circumstances of the crash and whether the other two people were injured, was immediately available.
