Want to work for Stanislaus County? These open positions pay as much as six figures a year

Stanislaus County is hiring.

The county is looking to fill positions in June for the departments of parks and recreation, probation and more.

Stanislaus County provides competitive and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance plans, for regular full-time employees.

As part of its Employee Choice Bonus Plan, the county is offering a sign-on bonus worth up to $10,000 over three years or 21 extra days of leave time for eligible employees hired full-time on or before June 30, 2025.

Here are some current open jobs available on the county’s website as of Friday, June 14:

Senior Human Resources Manager | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Community Services Agency
  • Salary: $95,180 to $142,771 annually

The senior human resources manager leads other team members and assists with a variety of areas within the department, including recruitment and retention, staff development, discipline, labor relations and payroll.

The application closes on June 18.

Custodial Cook | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Probation
  • Salary: $45,531 to $55,348 annually

The custodial cook supervises other staff members and inmate workers. They also coordinate and oversee food service to ensure high standards of nutrition, food production and service.

The application closes on June 19.

Business Manager I | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Stanislaus Regional 9-1-1
  • Salary: $66,560 to $99,840 annually

The business manager oversees the business and operational functions of the department. Some tasks include handling operations, managing budget and finance and administering human resources.

The application closes on June 26.

Workforce Development and Training Manager (Manager III) | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Behavioral Health and Recovery Services
  • Salary: $84,177 to $126,276 annually

The workforce development and training manager, or manager III, oversees training, manages workforce development activities, develops policies and procedures, conducts evaluations of training programs and prepares reports as needed.

Park Maintenance Worker | Full-time and part-time

  • Department: Parks and Recreation
  • Salary: $44,512 to $59,654 annually

The park maintenance worker performs various tasks in parks and public areas, including using power tools, helping with construction projects and working at entrance stations.

The application is open until the position is filled.

Accountant III | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Various
  • Salary: $77,251 to $93,912 annually

Multiple departments are hiring for the position of accountant III.

This position is responsible for handling accounting or auditing tasks, managing systems and preparing reports for executives and department managers. The accountant III works independently and can be required to supervise other staff.

Probation Corrections Officer | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Probation
  • Salary: $51,459 to $71,656 annually

The probation corrections officer is responsible for the care and custody of youth in Juvenile Hall, the Juvenile Commitment Facility, or in alternative-to-custody programs.
