These Stanislaus County stores are hiring now — offering $100 gift cards and weekly pay
Extra money in your pocket always feels nice, but especially around the holidays. As Modesto retailers ready their crews for the season, some are looking for extra hands.
Businesses in the Vintage Faire Mall and Stanislaus County Kohl’s stores are hiring seasonal (and regular) workers at in-person events and online this month.
Here’s who’s hiring in the mall, and information about the Kohl’s hiring event:
Vintage Faire Mall hiring event
On Wednesday, Sept. 27, Vintage Faire Mall will be hosting a hiring event for several of its retailers.
The event will take place in the center court on the first floor between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Applicants can come any time during that window, according to the mall’s website.
Hiring retailers will have individual tables in the court with applications and managers or representatives who may conduct on-site interviews. Applicants should bring a valid ID, the website says.
Applicants who visit the check-in table can enter for a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card just for attending the event, according to a news release.

Kohl’s hiring seasonal workers in Stanislaus County
Kohl’s has several seasonal, and regular, openings at stores across Stanislaus County including Modesto, Riverbank, Turlock and Patterson.
Two national hiring events will take place at Kohl’s stores, one the weekend of Sept. 21-23 and another the weekend of Oct. 12-14. This weekend’s event will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Applicants who attend either of the events will be offered immediate, on-site interviews and can receive a job offer the same day, according to a Kohl’s news release. Interested individuals can also apply on the Kohl’s website or by texting APPLY to 24508.
Kohl’s associates are offered flexible scheduling, weekly paycheck, and a 15% merchandise employee discount, along with occasional shopping events where the discount increases to 35%, according to the release.
