Update: Modesto police reopen Scenic Drive lanes at Oakdale Road after crash is cleared
7:55 a.m. update: All lanes of Scenic Drive in the Oakdale Road area have been reopened following a crash, police report. The minor-injury crash involved one vehicle, which struck a utility pole at McGuire Drive.
Original story: Traffic is being diverted off Scenic Drive east of Oakdale Road as Modesto police work the scene of a vehicle crash.
The collision was at the intersection of Scenic and McGuire Drive, about half a mile east of Oakdale Road.
There is no immediate information on the number of vehicles and occupants involved, or their injuries.
A driver at the scene told The Bee that vehicles are being detoured through the One Church Modesto parking lot.
