Pedestrian struck and killed in Modesto, crossing Tully Road near Davis High at night
A 58-year-old man was struck and killed Thursday night just before 10 p.m. while he was walking across Tully Road near Davis High School, said Modesto Police Department Lt. Joe Bottoms. He’s the 20th person killed this year by traffic collisions in Modesto.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. DUI is not suspected.
The man’s identity has been withheld pending notification of family.
