The Modesto motorcyclist who died in a crash with a pickup on Highway 120 near Knights Ferry last week has been identified.

Eugene Gragg, 67, was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle west on Highway 120 the night of Aug. 22 when it collided with the side of a Chevrolet Silverado that had been going north on Rushing Hill Lookout Road and was crossing the highway to access the driveway of a property on the north side, according to the California Highway Patrol.

As a result of the collision, Gragg was ejected from the motorcycle. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The CHP is looking for witnesses to the collision or the events leading up to it. Anyone with information is asked to contact the office at 209-984-3944.
