CHP investigating fatal collision involving two pickups west of Turlock

Roadway fatality

One person was killed in a traffic collision involving two pickups Saturday morning west of Turlock, according to the California High Patrol.

At 10:54 a.m., the CHP received a report of a collision between red and blue pickups at the intersection of Crows Landing Road and Linwood Avenue.

Initial reports were one person suffered minor injuries while another was unresponsive with major injuries. About two hours later, the CHP reported the a fatality had occurred.

The blue pickup had front-end damage, according to the CHP, while the red pickup had damage to its side.
