Modesto Police seek witnesses to a collision that left a moped rider with major injuries
The Modesto Police Department is looking for witnesses to an Aug. 22 collision in which a moped rider suffered major injuries.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. at Kiernan Avenue and Dale Road, where an adult male driving a Kia Forte collided with the moped.
The driver of the Kia remained on scene and was cooperative with investigating officers but had signs of intoxication and was arrested for DUI, according to the report.
