Body of man found in central Modesto park
A man was found dead in a central Modesto park early Friday morning, according to authorities.
Officers were called to Garrison Park, just north of West Orangeburg Avenue, on a report of a man down, according to Sharon Bear, spokeswoman for the Modesto Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found a deceased male.
No foul play is suspected.
There was no further information about the man, including his age, identity or city of residence.
An autopsy will be performed.
