Harder donates masks and face shields to health care workers

Freshman Rep. Josh Harder, a Democrat from Turlock, donated 30,000 surgical masks and 2,000 face shields to the Stanislaus County and San Joaquin County Offices of Emergency Services on Friday.

The masks are for hospital workers, first responders, and other front-line service providers, while the face shields are for local health care workers.

Donated to the San Joaquin County’s Emergency Medical Services Agency were 20,000 masks and 1,000 shields, while 10,000 masks and 1,000 shields went to the Stanislaus County Office of Emergency Services.
