Fire damages garage, motor home off Carpenter Road in west Modesto
A Monday night fire damaged a garage and recreational vehicle in west Modesto, the Westport Fire Department reported.
It happened at about 8:15 p.m. on Waverley Drive, a block and a half east of Carpenter Road. Firefighters from Westport and other agencies controlled it within an hour.
No injuries were reported. The cause is unknown.
