25 YEARS AGO: It was reported that the entire senior class, all 250 students, at Ripon Christian High School skipped out on class for community service work. Students took up projects from painting over graffiti to repairing flood damage to delivering flowers to the terminally ill. The community service day ended Spiritual Emphasis Week, a week in which students learned that being Christian means helping and sharing. The day also happened to be “National Random Acts of Kindness Day”.
