The Cinco de Mayo holiday received an early and festive celebration in Modesto on Saturday with a colorful parade along Crows Landing Road. The South Modesto Businesses United-sponsored parade is an annual and popular event, this year featuring floats with youth groups, live entertainment, music and more. South Modesto Businesses United is a nonprofit group aimed at empowering and improving south Modesto.
