YESTERYEARS
100 YEARS AGO: Crows Landing planned to celebrate May Day. The announcement of the celebration came in the form of 50 boosters, headed by a boys band, in an auto-raid caravan. The caravan stopped at Tenth and I streets for a demonstration before Police Chief Dallas and his patrolmen were aware of the happy demonstrators.
