The Warrior All Sports Camp got under way at California State University, Stanislaus, in Turlock on Monday. The spring break day camp, running through Friday, is offering more than 16 sports and activities, including soccer, basketball, track and field, badminton, Frisbee, golf, futsal (a downsized, usually indoor version of soccer), hockey, flag football, softball, baseball, team handball, capture the flag and dodgeball. The camp is for boys and girls ages 5-13. They are grouped according to age, size and ability. Each group experiences a series of different activities every day, culminating in a mini-Olympic tournament on the final day.
