Milk tanker overturns on Highway 99 onramp in Modesto

A milk tanker overturned on a Modesto highway onramp Monday morning, closing it for several hours. The accident was reported on the Kansas Avenue ramp to southbound Highway 99 at 7:56 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Nobody was injured, but the big rig started leaking fluid believed to be a whey product onto the road. The onramp and one lane of the highway were closed for several hours while workers cleaned up the spill.
