Cooler, breezier conditions ahead for Modesto
The record-high temperatures the region has been having are making way for cooler and breezier conditions.
According to the National Weather Service, the Modesto area should reach a high of about 76 degrees on Tuesday. That’s down about 10 degrees from Monday.
After an overnight low of about 46, Wednesday looks to be more of the same mild temperatures.
A system moving into the area will bring winds this week but no rain, forecasters say. Breezes are expected to average 11 to 15 mph, with some gusts as high as 24 mph.
The weekend should bring in some clouds with highs in the lower 70s, closer to average for this time of year.
