YESTERYEARS
40 YEARS AGO: Stanislaus County and its eight smaller cities found out they would not be getting any housing and community development money. The county and smaller cities of Oakdale, Turlock, Ceres, Newman, Patterson, Riverbank, Hughson and Waterford lost $250,000 for community development projects. However, the city of Modesto’s funding was not blocked.
