Modesto to get toasty by the end of the week

It’s shaping up to be quite the toasty week in the Northern San Joaquin Valley.

After a chance of isolated showers and a high of 73 on Modesto, temperatures will start to rise.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy and much like Monday, according to the National Weather Service, with a few light breezes here and there. Things start heating up on Wednesday, with the high by Friday reaching 85 degrees. Overnight lows are expected to drop into the mid 50s.
