The family and friends of homicide victim Lauren London held a candlelight vigil Friday evening in Hughson.

London’s burned body was found Monday next to a large pile of dead branches and agricultural waste near almond orchards behind Central Valley High School in Ceres.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department, which is investigating the case, has not said how London – a 25-year-old mother of a toddler – died.

Investigators do not know whether she was killed near the orchards or if her body was dumped there. No suspects have been identified.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Stanislaus County sheriff’s Detective Frank Soria at (209) 525-7080.
