A misty morning warmed into a clear, beautiful Wednesday, with highs in the mid-70s. As the sun rose, horses grazed in a pasture at South Stearns and Sierra roads east of Oakdale. Sunny to mostly sunny days with similar highs are expected through Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. The forecast calls for a slight chance of rain Sunday night in the Oakdale and Riverbank areas, but not until Monday in Modesto.
