Info: The Modesto Junior College Hispanic Conference will expose Latino high school students to higher education and a variety of occupations. Students will attend workshops, and the keynote speaker will be Jorge Perez, director of the Department of Student, Parent and Community Support Services for Modesto City Schools, who will share how he turned from gang involvement to complete his education and become a positive leader.
