Info: The mission of the Modesto Parkinson’s Support Group is to provide education and emotional support for all who live with Parkinson’s disease. The meeting will feature an exercise session specific to Parkinson’s, a DMV presentation on driving, and Parkinson’s and individual circles of sharing for patients and their caregivers. 100 YEARS AGO: It was announced that Modesto would be an official stop for the third transcontinental automobile entrance into California. Secretary of the Interior Franklin K. Lane said the Old Tioga Road will be made the connecting link.
