Community murals in Modesto

Artists worked Tuesday to complete the latest in a series of murals sponsored throughout Modesto by groups, businesses and individuals as part of the Classic Community Murals project.

The effort has produced 10 “American Graffiti”-inspired works on walls around the city, including one located in an alley off the 1000 block of J Street.
