Waterford woman shot to death

A 42-year-old Waterford woman was shot to death east of that city early Sunday, and authorities had made no arrests as of midafternoon.

Stanislaus County deputy sheriffs were dispatched to 22742 Yosemite Blvd. at 1:45 a.m. Emergency medical workers responded but the victim, who had a gunshot wound to the upper body, was pronounced dead.

All people involved in the incident were located. 

Detectives did not release the victim's name pending family notification.
