Should outdoor wedding venues be allowed in Stanislaus County?
Stanislaus County supervisors are scheduled Tuesday to consider policies for outdoor wedding venues in the unincorporated area.
An amendment to the county zoning ordinance would allow the commercial venues on agricultural land if a use permit is granted for the business. Conditions applied to the permits would strive to minimize problems for agriculture and nearby property owners.
A public hearing is set.
The Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the basement chamber of Tenth Street Place, at 1010 10th St., Modesto. The following items will be considered:
– Engineering services contract with First Carbon Solutions of Fresno for the Keyes Road and Faith Home Road intersection improvements.
– Presentation of Children and Families Commission annual report.
