Stanislaus County reported two deaths to COVID-19 on Tuesday, for a total of 1,380 since April 2020.

The Health Services Agency announced 91 more cases, for a total of 79,640. The county has 974,337 negative test results and 76,479 people who are presumed recovered.

Other details:

Mask order threshold: The county order for masks in most indoor public places is expected to end when the case rate per 100,000 residents drops below 20. The rate was at 21.9 on Tuesday, down from 23.1 the day before.

Hospital cases: The county’s five hospitals had 129 patients with confirmed COVID-19 on Tuesday, down from 137 on Monday. Adults in intensive care rose by two to 30.

Positivity rates: On the state dashboard Tuesday, where numbers reflect the previous day, the seven-day positivity rate was 7.2%, downfrom 7.8% the day before, an decrease of 0.8% from the prior seven days. The rolling seven-day rate a month ago was 7.2%.

Vaccines: As of Tuesday, 88.3% of county residents 12 and older had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 62.1% were fully vaccinated, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The age limit is now down to 5, but data on this younger group is not yet available.

The county has public vaccine clinics that each offer all three types: Pfizer (5 and older), Moderna (18+) and Johnson & Johnson (18+). The schedule through Nov. 20:

California has administered 55,671,028 vaccine doses as of Tuesday, according to the CDC tracker. The state ranks 13th in the country, with 140,896 doses per 100,000 residents. Vermont ranks first, West Virginia 50th among the states.

It’s important to note that if you’ve had part or full vaccination, wearing a mask and keeping with all the safety precautions like social distancing in some circumstances is still recommended by the Centers for Disease for Control and Prevention. Also, those who have had COVID-19 still need to be vaccinated.
