Elk Grove fire crews contain two-home blaze, no injuries reported
A structure fire that burned two homes on Spring Creek Way in Elk Grove is under control, according to a social media post on the Cosumnes Fire Department’s X account.
Units were dispatched to the area just after 4 p.m. on Monday. The battalion chief added a second alarm after fire crews reported two houses were involved in the fire.
A single-story and a two-story structure were involved in the fire, according to dispatch records.
The Cosumnes Fire Department reported that there were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
