Man hospitalized after girlfriend allegedly stabbed him in neck, Fresno police say

A 60-year-old man needed surgery after allegedly being stabbed in the neck by his girlfriend, police say.

The stabbing happened around 10 a.m. Tuesday near the 1400 block of East Dorothy Avenue, Fresno police Sgt. Diana Trueba Vega said.

The victim was stabbed in the neck, required surgery and is in stable condition, Trueba Vega said.

Police haven’t arrested the suspect yet.
