Top CA scratchers players scored $145 million in 2025. Where were tickets sold?

The top 12 scratchers players in California scored $145 million in prizes in 2025, according to state lottery winners.

The California State Lottery has more than 50 scratch-off games, with new games launching each month.

Players buy a ticket, which costs from $1 to $40, and scratch it off to see if they won.

Prizes range from a free play to $15 million.

Five of the top 12 scratchers jackpots won in 2025 were from the 40 Years of Play! game introduced to mark the California State Lottery’s start 40 years ago in 1985.

The $15 million prizes account for five of the top seven winning tickets in the game.

Players’ chance of scoring a top prize was one in 3,046,299.

Another seven gamblers won $10 million prizes by playing the $10 Million Super Bonus, 200X and Royal Riches scratchers games in 2025, lottery officials said.
