Sensorio, the popular outdoor light and music exhibit that’s home to the Field of Light in Paso Robles, is seeking applications for five new art installations — and it’s taking its search international.

In a news release, Sensorio said it has more than 130,000 square feet of open space it’s looking to fill, ranging from the main entrance pathway to smaller areas between its exisiting exhibits.

Communications manager Diana Parker told The Tribune that the exhibit space up for grabs includes some spots that would bump up against current features like FOSO and Dimensions, but Sensorio is also looking to expand its installations into never-before-seen parts of its property.

To fill those spaces, the business is looking for “innovative works that fuse light with landscape, designed specifically for nighttime use,” the release said.

And to find those works, the Paso Robles attraction is launching its first international, open call for applications, the release said.
