Sacramento airport is adding 7 new destinations in 2025. Here’s how much flights cost

Looking for a getaway? Sacramento International Airport is launching eight new domestic and international routes in 2025.

By July, the airport will offer trips to 36 destinations.

Travelers will have a total of 196 daily flights from which to choose, the Sacramento Department of Airports said in a news release in January.

Here are the newest flights you can take from Sacramento:

When can I fly from Sacramento to Alaska?

Alaska Airlines announced in January that it will add a new route between Sacramento and Anchorage, Alaska, starting this year — marking the first time travelers will be able to fly nonstop from the capital city to Alaska.

The seasonal flight will operate weekly on Saturdays from June 14 through Aug. 16.

A one-way ticket from Sacramento to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport starts at $236, according to the Alaska Airlines website.

The airline is currently accepting reservations through Dec. 24.

Where do direct flights to Mexico go?

Alaska Airlines is also flying nonstop from Sacramento to two Mexican cities: Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

These new routes are seasonal, The Sacramento Bee previously reported.

Flights to Los Cabos began on Jan. 6 and will run through April 21, while Puerto Vallarta flights started on Jan. 11 and run through April 24.

Airfare to Puerto Vallarta International Airport starts at $168 for a one-way trip, while a one-way flight to Los Cabos International Airport starts at $166, Alaska Airlines said on its website.

Is there new service to Orlando?

Direct Alaska Airlines flights to Orlando also began on Jan. 6.

You can fly to the Florida city four times a week on the airline, through April 21.

A one-way trip from Sacramento to Orlando International Airport starts as low as $99 one-way on the Alaska Airlinesa website.

Which airlines have nonstop flights to Arizona?

Two airlines add direct flights to Tuscon, Arizona, in 2025.

Alaska Airlines’ daily flights to the Old Pueblo kicked off in early January and continue through April 21. Airfare starts at $69 for a one-way trip.

Southwest Airlines will offer weekend service between Sacramento and Tucson, Arizona starting on March 8.

One-way flight prices start at $69, according to the Southwest Airlines website.

Southwest Airlines is accepting reservations through Oct. 1.

How much are plane tickets to Hawaii?

Southwest Airlines is expanding its service to Hawaii in March.

The airline will be adding daily flights to Kahului on the island of Maui and Kona on the island of Hawaii.

One-way flights to Kahului Airport will start at $232 on the Southwest Airlines website.

You’ll be able to fly one-way to Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole for as low as $167.

In April and May, service to the Hawaiian cities will operate on the weekends. The airline will begin offering daily service in June and July.

Southwest Airlines currently operates flights from Sacramento to Honolulu.
