‘Twilight’ star Taylor Lautner, fiancee celebrate wedding at California winery
“Twilight” star Taylor Lautner and his fiancee, social media influencer Taylor Dome, tied the knot at a San Luis Obispo County winery on Friday.
The two exchanged marriage vows just before sunset at Epoch Estate Wines in Templeton and shared a kiss “surrounded by approximately 100 of their closest friends and family,” according to the Daily Mail, which captured photos prior to the nuptials.
Long-lens photos show the couple posing for pictures with the wedding party on a paved trail against a hillside. Lautner sported a black tuxedo with a bowtie and white flower boutonniere, while his bride wore a billowing white gown with lacy floral embellishments and a long veil.
Exactly one year before their wedding, on Nov. 11, 2021, Lautner proposed to Dome in a lavish engagement at Daou Vineyards in Paso Robles.
“Cannot wait to spend forever with you @taydome,” Lautner wrote on Instagram in November 2021. “You calm me when I’m anxious. You make me laugh way too much. You make every single day spent with you so special. And most importantly, you make me a better person. I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve brought to my life. I love you forever.”
Dome echoed her then-fiance’s sentiments in her own Instagram post, writing, “My absolute best friend ... I cannot wait to spend forever with you.”
Their itinerary during that engagement weekend included wine tasting at Epoch.
Lautner, 30, is best known for portraying werewolf Jacob Black in the “Twilight” movie franchise.
His 24-year-old bride is a model, mental health advocate and registered nurse.
Lautner told People magazine that he was introduced to Dome by his sister Makena.
Lautner and his new wife — who goes by the nickname “Tay”— will share a first and last name, the actor told host Kelly Clarkson while appearing on NBC’s “The Kelly Clarkson Show” in August.
San Luis Obispo County seems to be a favorite spot for the actor.
He was spotted on a previous visit to Daou in 2019, and he stopped by 1122 Cocktail Lounge and Speakeasy in Paso Robles in 2020.
