Ross Dress for Less sets opening date in Modesto’s Briggsmore Plaza
It’s been seven months since I wrote about a vacant unit on Prescott road being taken over by a Ross Dress for Less. It will soon open, bringing Modesto’s Ross store count to four.
Ross Dress for Less, at 1800 Prescott Road, will open July 18, according to a grand-opening invitation from the Modesto Chamber of Commerce. Hours have not been announced for the Prescott Road store, but other Modesto stores’ hours are generally around 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Down the street from Plaza Parkway, Briggsmore Plaza is shaping up to be a destination for discount shopping. In the shopping center with Ross is Grocery Outlet, DD’s Discounts and Trinity Thrift. There is also an In-Shape Gym, Akitaca Crab Seafood Restaurant and La Michoacana Premium ice cream shop.
The ribbon cutting for Ross will take place at 8:45 a.m. July 18.
