This taquería is gaining popularity fast. It’s opening a 2nd Stanislaus location
These days, having a good marketing team seems to at least play a part in the success of a business. Not that it is imperative; a good product still speaks for itself.
One Central Valley restaurant not only has a healthy social media following but has found enough of a customer base to rapidly expand from one taco truck in Lodi — established in 2021 — to 18 trucks and restaurants between Roseville and Fullerton.
I wrote about Tequileros Taquería when it opened in Salida in September 2024. I thought its nearly 65,000 followers and handful of Central Valley locations were a lot then, but as it prepares another location in Stanislaus County, its following has doubled and locations have tripled.
“It’s not just a post on Instagram, we really stand behind our product and what we do,” owner Edgar Gomez said at the Salida grand opening in 2024.
Though it hasn’t announced a grand opening date, Tequileros has posted that it is coming to 3216 W. Monte Vista Ave. in Turlock.
The menu has quesabirria tacos, loaded fries, bowls, classic tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, nachos and jalapeños with melted and crisped cheese.
The restaurant is holding open interviews for cashiers, prep cooks, grill cooks and bussers at the Turlock location on May 20 from 10 to 11 a.m. and May 21 from 6 to 7 p.m.
