What’s moving into Modesto’s McHenry Village? Former Royal Robbins suite being filled
Over seven years ago, Mobaak Aromatherapy Shoppe opened in Roseburg Square. Soon, it’ll move to a bigger space in another popular Modesto shopping center.
Heather Enriquez went from making soap at home for friends and family in 2013 to selling her products at the Modesto Certified Farmers Market in spring 2018 and then to opening a brick-and-mortar shop in November the same year.
In a newsletter sent to customers Tuesday, Enriquez announced she would be taking another step forward and relocating to McHenry Village. The shop will be in suite 31, where Royal Robbins was before it closed in 2024.
“The new space is a beautiful village storefront filled with natural light and large front windows,” Enriquez said in the emailed newsletter. “Our aroma bar will move to the window area, creating a bright, open space where candle making (and more to come) can truly shine.”
While the move-in date is yet to be determined, Enriquez said she’ll provide updates on the shop’s social media pages. Renovations to the space have begun.
“This new location is a better size for us and allows us to create a light, bright and airy new chapter for Mobaak,” she wrote.
In the meantime, Mobaak remains open at 905 W. Roseburg Ave. weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
