Whom do you call when you need an event catered in Stanislaus County? Nominate now
The plan was to come out of this “best in Stanislaus County” poll series with six winners in an equal number of categories, but that changed when the poll for best hangout spot resulted in a tie.
With two polls left, we have five winners thus far: Flora Cafe for best coffee, Luigi’s Pizza for best pizza, Ricky’s Tacos for best taco truck, and Family Pizza & Cocktail Lounge and The Twisted Pig Bar and Grill for best hangout.
Now, it’s time to determine the best caterer in Stanislaus County.
Remember, this poll is separate from Best in Modesto and will be tied to a community event at the beginning of 2026. That event will be announced at the end of the series.
Nominations will begin Tuesday, Dec. 16, and end on Thursday, Dec. 18.
Finalists will be named Friday, and voting will last through Sunday, Dec. 21. The winner will be featured Monday.
Nominate your favorite catering company
I’m sure there is a plethora of catering options in Stanislaus County — and I want to know about them. Whom do you call when you need food for a party, wedding or other get-together?
Things to consider are: quality, affordability, service options (from drop-off to full service with staff and setup) and menu variety.
We are not limiting the options to a specific type of food, meaning the company can serve Mexican food, barbecue, Italian, charcuterie, desserts or anything else. The caterer must be licensed and permitted.
